What to expect

The gathering of the church is not only a command (Hebrews 10:24-25), but it’s the high point of our week! Because of that, we strive to center our gatherings around the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Word. Each week we read the Bible, pray, sing songs and preach. On the first Sunday of every month, we participate in the Lord’s Supper.

When and where

We meet at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings at Northside Christian School. Look for Providence banners when you come up the drive and park in the traffic circle or the connected parking lot. A friendly face will greet you at the front door and help you find your way around.

Worship style

We learn and sing a combination of fresh new music as well as rich hymns of faith handed down through generations. Because the Bible commands us to sing together, we try to make sure our music is congregational, and not a performance.

Most often, our music is accompanied by two or three voices, piano, and acoustic guitar (and occasionally cajon).

Nursery

Kids of all ages are welcome in our worship gathering, and our nursery is available for children up to age 4.

If your kids are ages 5+ and you’re concerned about them being disruptive in the gathering, please don’t worry! We love the sound of children, so if they get squirmy during the service, that’s just fine.

Our desire is that from a young age your children would be discipled by seeing you (and the rest of the congregation) joyfully worshiping Jesus.
