Leadership Team

Brad Jury, Senior Pastor

When Brad was five he crossed the line of faith by believing upon Jesus Christ. While preparing for pastoral ministry Brad met Jennifer, eventually forming a ministry team through marriage. In 1999, they began serving God together in churches in Rochester, N.H., Denver, Co., and Indianapolis, In. In 2009, the Lord called Brad to Providence Church where he began serving as Senior Pastor. The Lord has blessed Brad & Jennifer with four children: Kyle, Carter, Kassia, and Cana. Brad’s desire is to see Providence Church expand its impact for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a needy community while deepening their love for Christ through Word-centered Christ-exalting grace-driven ministry. Brad’s community impact includes serving as Secondary Bible Teacher at Northside Christian School and Chaplain at Westerville Area Resource Ministry.

Nathan Golden, Pastor

Nathan is a native of Florida and grew up in a home that was deeply influenced by the Word of God. Through God’s great mercy, he found new life in the atoning work of Christ. He met Vanessa, his wife, in college and together they have two daughters, Amelia and Molly. The Lord has led their family all around the country, from West Virginia to Utah and ultimately to Ohio. They are thankful for the grace-filled fellowship of the believers at Providence. They have served together at Providence since 2014, and Nathan joined the pastoral team in 2019.

Tim Allen, Deacon

Timothy Allen was born and raised in Gahanna, Ohio, in a loving Christian household. As a child, he accepted Christ in his life knowing that he was a sinner who desperately needed God’s forgiveness based only the saving power of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. He served in the Marine Corps after high school and after returning home to Ohio met his wife, Kristin. He now works as a Materials Science Engineer at the Battelle Memorial Institute, and they have recently welcomed their first child, Eleanor, in September, 2021. Both Tim and Kristin have a strong desire to serve the Lord with the gifts they have been given, and to make sure everyone at Providence, and those around them, feel the inclusion and love of Christ.

Patrick Maxwell, Deacon

Patrick grew up in California. After years of struggles, he turned to God and trusted in Christ when he was in his late twenties. Later, Patrick changed careers from construction to broadcast engineer at a Christian radio station. Patrick moved multiple times, eventually landing in Ohio where he met his wife Emily, and they were married in 2017. Patrick and Emily joined Providence in 2019 and are committed to ministering to the church in a variety of ways.

Steve Black, Deacon

Steve was born in Pennsylvania, the youngest of 5. He grew up in a Bible-believing church and Christian school. At a young age, Steve placed his trust in God receiving God’s gracious pardon for his sins and the righteousness of Christ. Steve moved to Columbus to graduate with a Bachelor Degree in Technology. Soon after arriving in Columbus, Steve heard about Providence Church. Because of the depth and passion of the preaching and teaching of the Scriptures, he was drawn to partner with Providence Church striving to show others the Gospel grace that God has given him.
